As the saying goes, 'there's nothing quite like messing about on the water'. Add to this messing about in a top-specification racing yacht or the chance to play around at high speed onboard a rigid inflatable boat (RIB) and you've got the perfect combination for a fantastic day out.
Our Activ Activity Day’s take place on the Thames, taking in famous central London landmarks and on the Solent, probably the most famous stretch of water in the country. Solent events can depart anywhere along the coast from Portsmouth to Lymington. Our itineraries are flexible and we will work with you to incorporate all your requirements.

Solent RIB Treasure Hunt
Join us for a truly unforgettable, fun event using the latest high-speed craft to zip participants around the Solent in their hunt for clues and treasure. Our Skipper is on hand to offer advice for safe navigation and good seamanship.
No treasure hunt would be complete without gadgets or props so teams are issued with cameras, stopwatches and charts to study (not recommended while blasting at 45mph!) and of course some mind bending, fun clues.
For larger parties adding a second RIB or more hots up the pace, and the race is really on! Multi RIB events can culminate in a prize giving ceremony at an onshore venue or how about a private beach side BBQ?
A typical day itinerary:

Breakfast
|
Join us for a briefing over breakfast of bacon butties and coffee. Your clues and props will be handed out, then it's time to nominate your team leader.

Blast off!
|
Time to hold on tight for more than a few white knuckle ride moments. Hopefully you'll be blasting in the right direction ... (your Skipper could prove very useful here....).

Regroup
|
Or maybe that should be 'rethink' - time to reassess your strategy with some liquid refreshment, then its back on the water to continue your hunt for that elusive treasure.

Lunch
|
Can be a small or big affair in maybe Cowes or Yarmouth or anywhere you like. We can recommend some great venues offering pub lunches or we can arrange your own private function - the choice is yours.

Relaunch
|
After your refueling we'll be blasting off again (remember this when you order your lunch....) and hopefully the treasure will soon be in sight. No doubt you'll find yourselves flying around the Needles or pit-stopping in Alum Bay. The treasure IS in the Solent 'somewhere'.

Debrief
|
The day can end with just a prize giving ceremony or a full on reception such as a BBQ party. Whatever you decide upon - you'll have had a fantastic day with many ol' seadog stories to share

Thames RIB Treasure Hunt
Central London provides the spectacular backdrop for this exhilarating, water-based adventure. Our high powered RIBs provide an unusual form of transport that have our guests cruising at low speed past famous sights and then holding on tight for some white knuckle rides while we put the craft through their paces.
Perfect for team-building, corporate incentives or pure entertainment, our Treasure Hunts provide a unique event that can be used to meet a variety of business objectives. Each event is written bespoke to address our client's needs – whether that is to bond teams into an effective working unit, to develop communication or leadership skills or of course, as a simple, fun day out to entertain clients or to celebrate success.
Each team will be competes onboard one of our immaculate, 7.8m RIBs fitted with a top of the range, 4-stroke engine capable of propelling it up to 50 mph. The Treasure Hunt tasks teams with searching for clues, gathering items and tests their knowledge, team skills and initiative. The Treasure is awarded to the winning team at a prize-giving ceremony.

A minimum of 2 RIBs (max 7 participants per RIB) is required to run the event which can take place at any time of year. In line with Thames operating requirements, a safety boat is required for events of 3 or more RIBs.

RIB experience day
A RIB trip is packed full of 'wow factor' - there's the adrenalin rush provided by the power and manoeuvrability of the RIB, the beauty of the scenery from the Solent and the up close and personal view of other craft including fantastic yachts under full sail.
Powered by a Suzuki 4-stroke engine capable of propelling it up to 50 mph, the RIB can perform in any weather. Waves don't deter the RIB either, in fact they provide a playground to enjoy - blasting across them at high speed the craft literally takes off (shrieks of delight are usually heard from our RIBs as we zoom around the Solent!).
This is a day to play and enjoy. Participants are given the opportunity to drive the RIB at high speed under supervision – yes, you may get wet, but that is all part of the fun.
Pitstops can be incorporated in places such as Gunwharf Quay for morning coffee under the Spinnaker Tower or perhaps Cowes for lunch. The itinerary can evolve according to the group’s requirements.

Racing yacht experience day
When the conditions are right, sailing a powerful racing yacht can be an incredible adrenaline buzz. Experiencing constant boat speeds in excess of 11 knots is a thrilling experience and will provide a day out never to be forgotten.
The experience starts with a full Skipper's briefing. This will cover all aspects of safety and will take you over the yacht so you can familiarise yourself with the layout and facilities onboard.
The Skipper will provide full instructions throughout the day and will explain how a racing crew would be organised, the attention to detail involved and how each task would be performed under racing conditions. Everyone will be given the chance to have a go at the different tasks onboard - from helming to grinding the winches to trimming the high-tech race sails.
The cost of your day includes:

Power and sail experience day
The ultimate experience – a unique combination of power and sail. Guests can be transferred between the yacht and RIB while on the water so there’s plenty of opportunity for everyone to join in the fun.
A typical itinerary includes:
- a full day in the Solent, departing from The Hamble
- time onboard a top specification, race-prepared yacht
Our professional skipper will demonstrate the tasks and skill involved in sailing and racing the yacht. It's up to you whether you want to seize this opportunity to get 'hands on' and have a go. However, if chilling out is more your idea of fun then just sit back, let the others do the work and enjoy the view.
