Match racing
Match racing is a style of racing made famous by the Americas Cup. It involves 2 identical boats fighting it out in a battle of tactical calls and boat handling around a course. This one-on-one duel is a game of strategy and tactics. There is only one winner.
Match racing is challenging, exhilarating and incredibly rewarding. It is fantastic for team-building activities or for a challenging, fun day with clients offering the chance to work together and share a sense of achievement.
Our corporate match racing package includes:
- Race-prepared Beneteau 40.7 racing yachts with high-tech racing sails
- Positions available for up to 8 participants per yacht
- Professional racing Skipper for each boat
- Hostess/crew for each boat
- Committee boat and race officer
- Race management including setting of courses, start line and results
- Three competitive match races
- Short high speed RIB rides
- Overall event management
- Breakfast including Buck’s Fizz (bacon rolls, pastries, fruit juice, tea/coffee)
- Finger buffet lunch aboard
- Soft drinks whilst afloat
- Pimms reception
- Gourmet BBQ
- Champagne prize giving
- Prizes

Fleet racing in your own mini regatta
For larger groups you have the option of running your own regatta using a fleet of high specification, race-prepared yachts. This kind of competitive racing is the ultimate corporate hospitality or team-building experience and is sure to really get the adrenalin running.
Events can be as short as a day of racing through to a series of races over 2 or 3 days.
Our one day racing package includes:
- Race prepared Beneteau 40.7 racing yachts with high-tech racing sails
- Professional racing Skipper for each boat
- Hostess/crew for each boat
- Committee boat and race officer
- Race management including setting of courses, start line and results
- Three competitive races
- Short high speed RIB rides
