Cowes Week
Cowes Week is the second largest annual regatta in the UK, with almost 1,000 yachts and 8,000 competitors taking part. The eight-day event, which has been running since 1826, is great for sailors and visitors alike, with an exciting racing schedule afloat and a packed social programme on shore throughout the week. It also has to be the greatest regatta in the UK calendar. This unmissable event gathers together the greatest spectacle of racing boats and corporate charter boats anywhere in the world.
An experience not to be missed
Even if you're not taking part, a visit to Cowes during the regatta is a must with its great selection of specialist shops, excellent line-up of live bands, superb choice of cuisine and carnival-like atmosphere - plus one of the best sailing spectacles in the entire world of course!
On the final Friday of Skandia Cowes Week, there is usually a spectacular, free firework display which takes place from a floating barge just off the Marine Esplanade. The best view is from the Green in Cowes or afloat.

Day Racing at Cowes Week- £1,450 per day- all inclusive
You will be under the supervision of our professional skipper and mate sailing ‘Addiction’ our First 40.7 Beneteau yacht which is MCA coded and all on board comprehensively insured. Addiction is a top class racing yacht, having recently won IRC Class II at the Warsash Spring Series together with the outstanding achievement award, so a premium racing experience is guaranteed.
