RORC Racing

The Royal Ocean Racing Club (RORC) is a principal organiser of offshore yacht races in the UK. It has a large international membership made up of experienced yacht sailors.

Through its Rating Office in Lymington, RORC is the national authority for measurement and rating of offshore yachts.

As well as a busy domestic racing season, the RORC organise:
- the Rolex Commodore's Cup (usually June/ July)
- the Sevenstar Round Britain and Ireland Race (usually August)
- and the famous biennial Rolex Fastnet race (usually August)
